Music Department
Minister of Music: Lady Breanne Ward

The FBC Music Department purpose is to minister to others with our voices, instruments, and praise to make God and His glory known.

Theme Scripture:

Psalms 100

Ministry Protocol:

  • New Members:
    • Each new member will sit and observe 1 rehearsal.
      • They will provide their contact information and voice type (alto, tenor, soprano, or baritone) during this time.
      • Thereafter, praise team ministry leaders will check in with each new member to prepare them for future rehearsals.
  • Absence(s):
    • If a praise team member misses a rehearsal where new material is introduced, they will not be able to sing on Sunday.
      • However, 3 or more absences of a praise team member will require a meeting with praise team ministry leaders to inquire about their well being and commitment to the ministry.
  • Conflict Management:
    • The FBC Praise Team Ministry will follow Matthew 18:15-20 to settle disputes.
      • If the matter cannot be resolved amongst the members involved, First Lady Sis. Ward or Bro. JaWon Matthews will assist further.
  • Church Involvement:
    • FBC Praise Team members must schedule themselves accordingly to attend one or more of the following ministries:
      • Bible Study: Tuesdays from 6-7 PM
      • Sunday School: Sundays from 9-10 AM
      • Morning Worship Service: Sundays at 10:15 AM
      • ACTS (Actively Caring through Sharing) Visitation Ministry
      • Book and Bite Club: Every 3rd Saturday at 11:30 AM
