The Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) Ministry meets regularly through various ministries:

ACTS Ministry | 1:30-2:15 PM | Quarterly Meetings | 2nd Sunday after service
- This ministry helps to unify, connect, and serve women of Friendship Baptist Church and the local community. Connection is created by offering encouragement, comfort, and a sense of inclusion to all women. We aim to serve compassionately and cheerfully by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
- Director, Sis. Brenda Thorbs-Weber encourages the members of this ministry to visit women who are sick, in the hospital, care facilities, or need encouragement at home. ACTS members:
- pray and read a scripture with them.
- phone women to keep in contact with them, especially new mothers.
- contact new women of the church and send uplifting cards as needed.

​Book and Bite Club | 11:30 AM-1:00 PM | Every 3rd Saturday of the month
- ​Each month the ladies of FBC get together to discuss a book selected by the group. We meet in the community at a designated restaurant to eat and share the fun with others.
